The KFC network had to cover the Pepsi logo on the posters advertising a promotional campaign based on “The Lord of the Rings. The Return of the King.” at its Points of Sale. The campaign concerned a January special offer of a meal for children. EEMC, the company which represents the rights of the film’s producer, decided that KFC’s campaign is against the interest of Hoop, which is a sponsor of the film in Poland and has exclusive rights to promote beverages using the last part of “The Lord of the Rings”.
