The Gazeta Finansowa weekly awarded the title of the best stock-exchange debut of 2003 to HOOP. The decision was based on the ratio of the issue price to the price on the first listing, which in the case of Hoop was higher than for any other Polish company.
The stagnation which had been increasing for a few years did not discourage four companies, which took the risk of introducing their shares to stock-exchange trading in 2003, namely Zakłady Mięsne Duda, Creditanstalt – CAIB, Impel of Wrocław and HOOP. It was Hoop that proved undisputable leader: the difference between its issue price and the price on listing reached 31.4 %. The runner-up was Zakłady Mięsne Duda with 9.5 %, followed by Impel with 3.8%.
